Arrival at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Addis Ababa is the capital of Ethipia. It is at an elevation of 2,400m ASL. This city is built during the time of Menelik II in 1887. It got its name from Empress Taitu, which can be translated to 'New Flower' in English. Some facts about Addis Ababa are: world's third highest city, three million residents, hosts a large number of international offices including Africa Union.
